## coercing values in the option() function is deprecated
|

Currently code such as:

|

```meson
|
||
|
|
option('foo', type : 'boolean', value : 'false')
|
||
|
|
```
|
||
|
|
works, because Meson coerces `'false'` to `false`.
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
This should be avoided, and will now result in a deprecation warning.
|
